Our Mission Statement

The NW Trucking Academy (NWTA) is dedicated to expert training for each student who desires to become a Professional Truck Driver. Complete with all mandatory endorsements, we will provide students with a comprehensive course of the required basics for an entry level position which are necessary to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) and assist them with finding a position after completing the program.

In addition to the basics, we will offer advanced training in multiple areas which are not normally covered, such as extended on-the-road experience, as well as on-the-road lifestyle, nutrition, and exercise. We will maintain a low student-teacher ratio in our training program and will incorporate Oregon’s core abilities in context with the standard performance-based professional competencies. We will also offer current CDL-holders an Advanced Course to refresh their skills and provide them with the most up-to-date rules and regulations which are required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a government regulatory agency.

We Strive To Help Our  Students Succeed

Beyond providing exemplary training programs that meet the individualized needs of each student and the requirements of the profession, the graduates will be better prepared for the complexities of working as a Professional Truck Driver and will be more likely to stay in the profession, thus addressing the high turnover rates many trucking companies are currently experiencing.

NW Trucking Academy is one of the best CDL schools in Oregon, offering flexible classes, real-world driving tests, and a host of training materials guaranteed to help you earn your CDL.
